Ooooh, I get it now: “Change you can believe in” actually meant “change that doesn’t stretch the limits of credulity.” At least looking at pictures of the first family still fills me with joy — while it’s not the same thing as jobs and health care, it’ll do.
It’s funny back in the primaries I said: Obama is going to be surprisingly un-progressive.
I didn’t know that he was going to basically be a conservative. Republican: tax policies, deportation/border policies, position on national security, GLTBQI equality, use of Guantanamo, free trade agenda, view on executive/states secrets, antitrust enforcement, policies on taxes, and health care plan.
Well, the only thing left to do is to get that retirement age up to 75 and to make sure that federal workers’ wages stagnate just like everyone else’s…
It’s almost like the Democratic party lost the 2008 election.
